Ford Ranger Windscreen Chip Repair

Another perfect windscreen chip repair on a Ford Ranger in Kingsteignton for a local garage.

This windscreen chip had two impact holes, this would allow the resin to leak out and result in a poor repair. The procedure for these types of chips is to fill one of the holes with a thicker pit fill resin. This blocks off the hole, but as it’s a thicker resin it doesn’t flow into the chip below which would cause additional problems. Then the windscreen repair is carried out as normal and a perfect stone chip repair was achieved.
