Coach Windscreen Chip Repair

This ‘KM Travel of Chesterfield’ coach picked up a stone chip whilst on the M5 travelling to the Headland Hotel in Torquay.

The stone chip was a star break about the size of a two pence coin, with many cracks radiating from the central impact it was highly likely to split across the windscreen. Coach windscreens often cost several thousand pounds to replace whereas a windscreen chip repair can be as little as £40+VAT.

Repairing a star break windscreen chip can be risky as each of the cracks can often spread under the small amount of pressure created with our Esprit windscreen repair kit. This star break repaired really well, eventually after giving the stone chip repair around 20 minutes to fill rather than the normal 10 minutes we achieved a perfect windscreen chip repair.
