Today we replaced a Ford Fiesta windscreen. The windscreen had been replaced previously and when the glass was removed correctly this damage was revealed.
This is the typical low standard in the windscreen industry where the aperture has been scratched probably with a knife when the glass was removed incorrectly last time. Not only did the last company scratch the aperture but then it was left unprimed to allow water onto the bare metal and start the rust process.
At Devon Windscreens we use industry leading methods to remove windscreens safely without hacking the glass out like some local companies. Our priority is to remove the glass without marking the aperture, then to rebond your new glass after correctly activating and priming the glass / aperture.
