Leaking Transporter Glass

VW Transporter T5 side window leaking after a poor installation somewhere in Dorset. The customer was very lucky that the window hadn’t fallen out as the glass wasn’t primed and with a little pressure it completely let go the urethane. Normally when a window is cut out the old urethane is matt black in colour, of you look closely the urethane has a glossy shiny finish which indicates that it hadn’t bonded to the glass anywhere.

One of the worse jobs I have ever seen, the picture shows just how bad this glass was installed…..

Removed and refitted correctly with SIKA urethane.

Contact Devon Windscreens to have your glass fitted correctly.
