Custom Van Conversion
This Ford Transit Custom van conversion was a follow on from last year when we fitted a left sliding door window in Lustleigh. The customer decided to have the driver’s side middle panel converted to a sliding window.
A straightforward job, we use a special wide trim to cover the cut and primed edges, this is better than separating the original Ford panels and sealer and also keeps everything structurally intact – sometimes DIY’ers cut the panel bond to accommodate a thin trim, this often fails and leaves the panel flexing which isn’t recommended.
