VW T25 Windscreen
This T25 windscreen was cracked by a local garage when the new rubber supplied by the customer was a cheap substandard product. When they tried to fit the glass the screen cracked and then we got the call!
After ordering a new windscreen and a proper T25 windscreen rubber, we were able to fit the new screen and rubber in 5 minutes even with a high top roof overhanging.
As you can see in the pictures the rubbers are very different, the rubber we supplied was supple and this aids the fitment of the windscreen. The other rubber looked like it was from Just Kampers and will cause no end of problems.
We will no longer fit customer supplied rubbers for a lot of windscreen replacement jobs due to the poor quality often supplied. More often than not the Windscreen Rubbers sourced through your local Windscreen Replacement Company will be of a much higher quality and often considerably cheaper than you will find on the internet.
