Toyota Liteace Windscreen
This Toyota Liteace windscreen was replaced in Newton Abbot after a stone chip cracked the windscreen. Luckily there was one windscreen available in Coalville which we were able to source overnight for a next day replacement.
The Liteace windscreen was held in by a traditional rubber gasket seal as most older vehicles were back then, all modern vehicles have bonded glass which is far more complex to replace. Although this van was registered in 1991 there was only a very small amount of aperture rust, as a precaution we sealed the back of the rubber to prevent water leaking into the vehicle.
The customer had windscreen insurance with Royal and Sun Alliance, we were able to invoice the insurance company direct after collecting the £75 windscreen excess.
