Porsche 911 Cabriolet Windscreen
This Porsche 911 cabriolet windscreen was in at West Country Trimmers, Bovey Tracey and the windscreen had been fitted badly by another windscreen company / garage prior to its arrival. The rubber had gaps, the mouldings were bent and the top of the windscreen was hanging out. Also the fins on the back of the rubber had been sliced off and this had slit the main rubber seal as well.
We fitted a genuine Porsche windscreen seal, mouldings and joiner clips. Although the screen was difficult to fit – most new seals are, with careful adjustment we were able to align it significantly better than the previous install.
With a bit of autoglym car and glass polish the car after sealing the rear of the rubber everything now looks good, once the interior trim work is completed by West Country Trimmers this car will be back to pristine condition.
