Land Rover Discovery Series II Windscreen Leak
This Land Rover Discovery series II windscreen was replaced in Staverton after the heated screen cracked.
Prior to starting the replacement windscreen we took photos of the water-logged headlining, initially it looked like the windscreen could be leaking.
After carefully removing the windscreen we found no evidence of water leaking via the windscreen, the urethane bond which holds the windscreen in place was perfect and there was no rust present which could have caused a leak also.
Another common leak on the Land Rover Discovery is from the sunroof, these either leak from a perished sunroof seal or the sunroof drainage pipe which passes down both windscreen pillars. If the sunroof pipe becomes blocked from debris this can cause the pipe to backfill with water.
