This Citroen Relay windscreen repair was completed for a local fleet company in Newton Abbot.

Although the stone chip was a bit on the large size and had deteriorated due to being left for too long we were able to repair it – the chip was on the passenger side of the windscreen and out of the wiper sweep so it just needed strengthening.  These types of stone chips leave a clover leaf pattern in the resin due to the impact size and the deterioration of the laminate. Once a windscreen stone chip has been left for several months water enters the chip and starts to discolour the laminate, this discolouration isn’t reversible and the chip is left looking like a cataract.
