Our latest job was a Citroen DS3 windscreen repair for a local garage in Bovey Tracey. The windscreen had a stone chip on the passenger side of the windscreen around 15mm, this part of the windscreen can have up to 40mm damage on a MOT test before it would fail. Although the damage is below the 40mm permitted on an MOT test, it is important to get it repaired before it starts to spread. A simple repair prevents this stone chip developing into a crack and then a costly replacement windscreen.

We have a measuring device which when placed over the stone chip magnifies the damage with a 10mm circle overlaid – in the picture you can see the circle and the stone chip both magnified.
