BMW 1 Series Windscreen Chip Repair
Another beeswing windscreen chip repair in Ipplepen, Devon on a BMW 1 Series.
Probably the most difficult chips to repair, this one also had a live crack and the windscreen needed warming to ensure the resin would flow into the windscreen chip. Too much heat would result in the crack running resulting in a new windscreen.
The result was fairly good for this type of break. Due to the way the light bounces onto the cracks in the glass this type of beeswing break will always tend to be a little more visible than normal when viewed from the inside of the vehicle, especially when it is in a more central area of the windscreen.
