Ford Transit Custom Crew Cab Windscreen

This Ford Transit Custom crew cab windscreen in Newton Abbot needed replacing after it cracked whilst out on hire.

This model was equipped with a rain sensor and heated windscreen. The replacement windscreen procedure is exactly the same as a normal one, the only difference is the rain sensor which needs checking and a rain sensor gel which needs replacing each time. The connectors for the heated windscreen are behind the internal pillar trims and consist of two push in connectors and 2 earth straps on 8mm bolts.
