Audi A6 Broken Doorglass

This Audi A6 broken doorglass was replaced in Newton Abbot. The customer had accidentally locked the keys inside the car and had to smash the passenger window to retrieve the keys.

The Audi A6 doorglass requires the top of the door frame removal which is straightforward, after disconnecting the wiring and window winder assembly the door frame can be separated from the door. Once the frame is out and all the broken glass removed the new doorglass just slots into the runner and bolts to the window mechanism brackets.

Once everything is ready the new glass and door frame can be lifted back onto the door and reassembled with a final check to make sure the window operates correctly and all the door locks work.
